What Kind Of Mucus Do You Get

The Brood - In Spite of It All (1988)

garage-punk band formed in 1983 women in Portland, United States, which in 1986 released the single that debuted called "And I Know" which appeared in # 7 of the "99th Floor Fanzine" Flexidisc EP with a garage band.

After following simple launching the band decided to release his first LP in 1988 called "In Spite of It All", which is full of influences from 60's garage punk, what makes this album is full of fuzz and energy.

I ever came across a review of The Brood in a magazine and defined as "pure teen garagemania."

Recommendation: Listen it at full volume!

The Blacklight Chameleons - Inner Mission (1988)

Banda of the New York scene in the late 80's founded by Dino Sorbello after the dissolution of Mad Violets.

Although I had an EP under the arm is released in 1985 with his first LP (Inner Mission) with which show yet, sometimes with garage-psychedelic sounds many others with a unique sound of eighties post-punk, a tasteful and surf to folk.

The voice of the great Abbey Levin is very good and grabs you instantly and that the Bill Ebauer body, the battery of ex-Optic Nerve Ken Anderson and Katz Freddie under precise and of course one of the best guitarist of the time Dino Sorbello.

No one track is wasted, a great cult band.

Los Shain´s - Anthology (2004)

with you Ladies and Gentlemen Los Shain's, Peruvian band of the 60 release of "The House of Monsters" is his fourth test, so called because when they came to test their instruments were lying in the floor in the middle of cables and clutter, which reminded them of the house of The Munsters (yes, the TV series.)

With influences ranging from The Beatles, The Yardbirds, through the Ventures, The McCoys and The Trashmen among others, Los Shain's, we present their garajero-psychedelic sound together in this two-disc anthology.

Banda you can not miss in your collection!

The Ace-Tones - Six teen (1996)

Dutch started back in the nineties made up of Miss Jean (drums) and girlfriend at the time Eric Danno (organ) and in meeting with other 3 friends, they begin to reversal of many legendary bands "Pebbles."

With their first album "Teen Trash Vol.6" are invited to perform multiple tours throughout Europe, his second album called Sixteen edited by Henk's Crazy Diamond Records fieresa and is full of good rates, a Vox organ to everything that gives and tasteful guitar playing (as it should be!), in particular this is the album I most like about this band because it shows many influences as Fuzztones, 13th Floor Elevator and many others.

Its CURIOSITIES Eric and Rob did a project with Rudi Protrudi (The Fuzztones) called Link Protrudi and the Jayme.

also partnered with Link Wray and recorded an album called "Shadowman" and another live called "Walking Down A Street Called Love" among many other things, and tours throughout Europe and Link Wray and His Ace-Men.

Aaajalas! Wanted more ...

The Cavegurls - Just Out Of Reach (1989)

The Cavegurls is made up of three girls born in Minnesota primitive barbarians, the U.S., with one EP in their existence as a band, (edited by Skull Duggery Records) and with only four songs, these girls will move along the heel immediately with its savagery and good riffs typical of the time.

Although more like a the poor quality demo! but that does not detract from the strength and unique merit that these girls are loaded.
"Also add that had the opportunity to play with The Gruesome"

The Primates - We are The Primates (1986)

The Primates is a band from Ohio, but decided to move to Los Angeles where he became a respected group within the garage scene of the place.

This album presents a band that is wild themes in his lyrics about girls, monsters, monkeys and other things in a straightforward manner, in few words fun!

Apparently this was his only official album, but appeared on some compilations of GET HIP.

Formula For Synthetic Paint

decomposition process (then just rots)

"Process decomposition (then just rots)" is the second preview of the album and what if any life outside always the same thing?
is a heartbreaking and dense matter, this song is clearly seen as it has adapted the saxophone to new issues of the window, it shows also a more complex battery with a leaning to jazz, the bass is obsessive, the guitars Change parts are dirty but calm down to make way for games with lots of tremolo arpeggios, the voice is, in parts intimate and heartbreaking parts and play with the chorus in octaves low especially in the part where you use the megaphone, which now also is present invariably in the compositions.
is a song about stop clinging to things that have ceased to live, to overcome losses and to accept the unacceptable, no matter how hard things facing a crude manner and does not delusions. When something dies after just rot, says the letter.
