Before becoming leader and founder of Love and one of the most influential composers of the late 60's and a landmark in California psychedelia, Arthur Lee was known as the composer of several songs for artists such as Rosa Lee Brooks Little Ray or , besides playing with a small R'n'R group called The American Four .

Here are four of his songs recorded during the first half of the 60 and released in '45 in 1997. Including the single that grazed the American charts in those years Lucy Baines.
