"I'm Just A Man"
Bill Quick, full name Quick-Ruíz Guillermo Enrique Guzmán, was born in Miami, Florida, American father and Venezuelan mother. After his parents divorced, moved to Caracas but spent most of his childhood traveling around the world due to her mother's work for the United Nations. In the early seventies Madrid and was finally installed a regular at the flea market, playing acoustic guitar and selling leather belts and sandals, all very hippie. Precisely where he found several of the musicians with whom he would record later and producer Alain Milhaud who offered him the chance to record the first single is far from his later achievements but "I'm just a man" has a point.
